Report: Bradford School District spent $11,620 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Bradford Community Unified School District 1 was up 34.4 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Stark County school district spent $8,646 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,620 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 160 to 147 students over the same period.

Bradford's spending in 2019-20 was 19.8 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
