Report: Beach Park School District spent $14,072 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Beach Park Community Consolidated School District 3 was up 27.6 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Lake County school district spent $11,029 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,072 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 2,356 to 2,093 students over the same period.

Beach Park's spending in 2019-20 was 2.9 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
