Report: Norris City-Omaha-Enfield School District spent $8,677 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Community Unit School District 3 was down 1.1 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the White County school district spent $8,777 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $8,677 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 725 to 697 students over the same period.

Norris City-Omaha-Enfield's spending in 2019-20 was 40.1 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
