Report: Grand Ridge School District spent $15,207 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Grand Ridge Community Consolidated School District 95 was up 35.3 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the La Salle County school district spent $11,243 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $15,207 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 237 to 186 students over the same period.

Grand Ridge's spending in 2019-20 was 4.9 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
