Report: Windsor School District spent $9,764 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Windsor Community Unified School District 1 was down 4.5 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Shelby County school district spent $10,226 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,764 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 380 to 371 students over the same period.

Windsor's spending in 2019-20 was 32.6 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
