Report: Libertyville School District spent $15,409 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Libertyville School District 70 was up 40.9 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Lake County school district spent $10,939 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $15,409 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 2,400 to 2,246 students over the same period.

Libertyville's spending in 2019-20 was 6.3 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
