Report: Oregon School District spent $12,887 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Oregon Community Unit School District 220 was up 8.9 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Ogle County school district spent $11,831 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,887 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 1,429 to 1,493 students over the same period.

Oregon's spending in 2019-20 was 11.1 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
