Report: Damiansville School District spent $10,342 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Damiansville School District 62 was up 12.1 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Clinton County school district spent $9,223 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,342 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 114 to 106 students over the same period.

Damiansville's spending in 2019-20 was 28.6 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
