Report: Indian Springs School District spent $12,470 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Indian Springs School District 109 was up 21.1 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $10,301 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,470 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 2,988 to 2,669 students over the same period.

Indian Springs's spending in 2019-20 was 14 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
