Report: Red Bud School District spent $9,805 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Red Bud Community Unit School District 132 was down 3.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Randolph County school district spent $10,184 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,805 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 1,020 to 1,038 students over the same period.

Red Bud's spending in 2019-20 was 32.3 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
