Report: Iroquois County School District spent $10,283 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Iroquois County Community Unit School District 9 was up 2.2 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Iroquois County school district spent $10,060 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,283 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,085 to 932 students over the same period.

Iroquois County's spending in 2019-20 was 29 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
