Report: Albers School District spent $6,835 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Albers School District 63 was up 0.6 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Clinton County school district spent $6,796 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $6,835 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 189 to 198 students over the same period.

Albers's spending in 2019-20 was 52.8 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
