Report: Vienna School District spent $10,464 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Vienna High School District 133 was up 7.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Johnson County school district spent $9,714 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,464 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 358 to 362 students over the same period.

Vienna's spending in 2019-20 was 27.8 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
