Report: Antioch School District spent $12,093 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Antioch Community Consolidated School District 34 was up 5.4 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Lake County school district spent $11,474 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,093 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 2,991 to 2,783 students over the same period.

Antioch's spending in 2019-20 was 16.6 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
