Report: Iuka School District spent $9,952 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Iuka Community Consolidated School District 7 was up 3.6 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Marion County school district spent $9,608 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,952 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 209 to 221 students over the same period.

Iuka's spending in 2019-20 was 31.3 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
