Report: Hall School District spent $17,122 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Hall Township High School District 502 was down 31.9 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Bureau County school district spent $25,128 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $17,122 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 396 to 417 students over the same period.

Hall's spending in 2019-20 was 18.1 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
