Wyoming seeks public input on new education standards

The Wyoming Department of Education is inviting public input on Chapter 10 Rules and the proposed 2024 Wyoming Standards for World Languages & Cultures, Math Extended, and Science Extended. The deadline for submitting comments is May 5 at 11:59 p.m. Comments can be sent online, in person, or by mail.

To facilitate public participation, virtual comment sessions have been scheduled. Each session will start with a ten-minute informational presentation followed by time allocated for gathering public feedback. Participants are welcome to join or leave the Zoom meeting as they wish during the sessions.

The virtual public comment sessions are set for:

- April 7 from 4–5 p.m.

- April 9 from 11 a.m.–12 p.m.

- April 10 from 1–2 p.m.

- April 10 from 5–6 p.m.

Comments may be mailed to specific addresses provided for various documents related to Chapter 10 Rules and the proposed standards.
