The deadline for the Adult Education and Literacy Services grant applications is April 25. This grant, facilitated by the Vermont Agency of Education, covers the period from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2028. Eligible organizations are invited to apply and highlight how they can aid Vermonters aged 16 and older in achieving their career, education, and civics goals. Student membership applications are open for the State Board of Education. The Governor’s Office is selecting a student representative for a two-year term, starting as a non-voting member the first year and voting the second year. The Vermont Agency of Education (AOE), alongside the Vermont School Safety Center, will host Behavioral Threat Assessment (BTA) Team workshops on May 8-9.
