Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis will join several leaders and business owners to discuss significant investments in Allegheny County. The event, scheduled for April 15 at 2 p.m. outside the Munhall Volunteer Fire Company #4, aims to emphasize these investments.
Governor Josh Shapiro previously announced that the Shapiro-Davis Administration is financing 81 community initiatives through the Main Street Matters program. This initiative includes projects in Allegheny County, advancing the promise to rejuvenate downtown areas and bolster local economies.
The Main Street Matters program, overseen by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, generated over 200 funding requests, highlighting the need for these investments. The total funding requested surpassed $43 million.
The event will feature notable figures like "Lt. Gov. Austin Davis," "State Sen. Nick Pisciottano," "State Rep. Dan Goughnour," "Allegheny County Executive Sara Innamorato," "Allegheny Council Councilman Bob Macey," and "Munhall Mayor Rob Falce," alongside local entrepreneurs.
