The Vermont Agency of Education has released its latest field memo detailing several educational events and opportunities for educators across the state.
The Behavioral Threat Assessment (BTA) Office Hours are available every Tuesday and Thursday. These sessions aim to support team members with questions and guidance on BTA policies and procedures. Michele Hartje can be contacted at michele.hartje@vermont.gov for more information.
The Agency of Education, alongside the Vermont School Safety Center, is also organizing workshops for Behavioral Threat Assessment teams on May 8 and 9. Educators interested in integrating Personalized Learning Plans (PLPs) across curricula can attend grant information sessions on May 6 and 15. This grant opportunity supports Supervisory Unions/School Districts (SU/SDs) as they work towards embedding personalized learning processes. A webinar, "Closing the Year with Compassion for Yourselves and Your Students," is scheduled for May 8, targeting educators and support staff to rejuvenate their morale and efforts. Interested participants can reach out to Anne Dubie at anne.dubie@uvm.edu.
