Attorney General Dave Sunday, alongside Clearfield County District Attorney Ryan Sayers and other local leaders, announced the graduation of eight individuals from the LETI program. This initiative, managed by the Office of Attorney General, offers treatment as an alternative to criminal prosecution for qualified candidates.
The graduates were facing criminal charges but opted for the LETI program and successfully met all its requirements. A ceremony held on Wednesday celebrated their achievements with certificates presented by Attorney General Sunday, District Attorney Sayers, and community leaders.
"These graduates have made the difficult decision to face their challenges head-on, and I commend them for doing the work to complete the LETI program," stated Attorney General Sunday. He emphasized the importance of redemption and supporting those struggling with substance abuse.
Speakers at the event included Ryan Sayers, District Attorney of Clearfield County; Attorney General Dave Sunday; Jaden Caine-Shrock, one of the honored LETI graduates; and Christopher Grunthaner, Director of Clearfield Jefferson Drug & Alcohol Commission.
