Governor Josh Shapiro and Rick Siger, Secretary of the Department of Community and Economic Development, will meet with legislators and local leaders to discuss a $30 million investment in Philadelphia's Navy Yard Greenway District. This funding comes from the first round of the Pennsylvania Strategic Investments to Enhance Sites (PA SITES) program. The initiative aims to develop shovel-ready industrial sites across Pennsylvania to attract businesses, investments, and jobs.
The event will feature appearances by several notable figures including Senator Nikil Saval, Representative Morgan Cephas, Jodie Harris from the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation, Mark Seltzer of Ensemble Investments, LLC, and Mark Lynch from IBEW Local 98.
