Mesa school district changes policy on military regalia for graduates

The Mesa Unified School District has decided to change its policy, now permitting graduating seniors who have earned the right to wear military regalia at their graduation ceremony. This decision has been met with approval from Tom Horne, the State Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Horne had earlier called on the district to revise its policy, and the district is currently implementing this change for the Class of 2025.
