Governor Dan McKee, Education Commissioner Angélica Infante-Green, and the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) have announced a statewide education job fair. The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick. It is open to all individuals seeking employment in the education sector.

Governor McKee emphasized the significance of this event by stating, “Our job fair is an opportunity to bring together job seekers and organizations that are seeking to make a positive difference for Rhode Island students.” He encouraged prospective employees to attend and explore available opportunities.

The state currently has numerous vacancies across various roles within schools including teachers, teacher assistants, administrators, bus drivers, athletic trainers, social workers, nurses, cafeteria workers, and facilities management positions.

Commissioner Infante-Green added that the job fair offers prospects for those interested in teaching or support roles. She stated, “Whether you’re interested in a teaching position, a support position or are looking for credentialing information, join us at RIDE’s job fair to find your next opportunity.”

Nearly 30 school districts will be present at the event with some conducting on-site interviews. Milissa O'Neil from Oakland Beach Elementary School and Rhode Island’s 2025 Teacher of the Year shared her insights saying that working with Rhode Island students is rewarding and encouraged potential educators to attend.
