Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis and Department of Community and Economic Development Secretary Rick Siger will join local leaders in Murrysville to announce the Commonwealth's investment in Premier Automation. This initiative aims to create jobs and grow Pennsylvania's manufacturing and technology sectors.
Governor Josh Shapiro's 2025-26 proposed budget includes over $160 million in new and expanded investments. These efforts are part of a 10-year Economic Development Strategy designed to enhance Pennsylvania's competitiveness and position it as a leader in job creation and economic development.
The announcement will take place at Premier Automation, located at 3700 Haney Court, Murrysville, PA 15668, on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis, Secretary Rick Siger, Representative Jill Cooper, Mike Gunniers (Owner of Premier Automation), Joel Reed (President of Premier Labs), and Jason Rigone (Executive Director of Westmoreland County Industrial Development Corporation) are expected to attend.
