Arizona education funding delayed due to federal grant review

The U.S. Department of Education did not issue grant award notifications for some programs on July 1. This decision was made before the completion of their review of federal awards. Consequently, the Arizona Department of Education is unable to access these federal funds until both the U.S. Department of Education and the federal Office of Management and Budget release financial amounts to states.
