Charlene M. Russell-Tucker Commissioner | Connecticut Department of Education
The Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE) has introduced two new webpages to provide information about its ongoing intervention efforts in Bridgeport Public Schools and Hartford Public Schools. The department stated that these pages are intended to support transparency, collaboration, and accountability for students, families, and school staff.
According to the CSDE, the new webpages offer access to all relevant details concerning state involvement in both districts. This initiative is part of a broader strategy by the department to ensure public access to clear and timely updates on district-level interventions.
The intervention efforts in Bridgeport and Hartford aim at improving student performance, enhancing district operations, and building long-term capacity for sustained progress. Additional information about these initiatives can be found on the official CSDE website for Bridgeport at https://portal.ct.gov/sde/board/state-board-of-education/bridgeport-intervention and for Hartford at https://portal.ct.gov/sde/board/state-board-of-education/hartford-intervention.
“These sites underscore the CSDE’s continued commitment to transparency, collaboration, and accountability in addressing the needs of students, families, and school staff.”
