Character.org is inviting educators from National Schools of Character to contribute to its “Voices from the Field” initiative. The organization is seeking essays, audio, or video clips from educators who wish to share their experiences in character education. Selected contributions will be featured in Character.org’s newsletter and on its website.
According to the announcement, participating in this initiative also helps educators meet an outreach requirement for renewal as a National School of Character. The application process is accessible through a provided link.
Character.org was established in 1993 and focuses on promoting core values among individuals of all ages. The organization recognizes schools, organizations, workplaces, communities, and families that demonstrate leadership in character development. Its widely recognized 11 Principles Framework for Schools guides institutions in cultivating cultures centered on character. Over the past two decades, more than 1,200 schools have been designated as National Schools of Character by Character.org.
“By sharing your experiences, you’ll not only uplift others in the character education community but also fulfill an important outreach requirement for your renewal,” states the call for applications.
