Districts in North Dakota are preparing for the transition to Infinite Campus, a new student information system, with updated guidance from the BRIDGE team. The team has released revised frequently asked questions (FAQs) to help districts implement consistent processes and ensure a smooth onboarding process statewide.

Implementation training is currently in progress. District team leads can add more members to their implementation teams by submitting user lists to Infinite Campus. Once accounts are created, users do not receive an automatic notification.

To confirm if someone has been added to an implementation team, the BRIDGE team advises: "Try accessing Campus Community directly or check with your district team lead to confirm you were included on the submitted list. Instructions for accessing Campus Community are included in this guide."

The transition also emphasizes the importance of accurate and standardized student addresses within Infinite Campus. These addresses group students and staff into households and support reporting requirements at both state and federal levels, such as the Civil Rights Data Collection and Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT). Districts are encouraged to follow U.S. Postal Service standards for address formatting. Mailing addresses are required for Summer EBT, while physical or home addresses are used for tasks like bus route planning.

Regarding data migration, seven years of both active and inactive student data will be transferred into Infinite Campus. The BRIDGE team states: "Seven years of both active and inactive student data will be migrated into the new SIS. Although only seven years will appear in Infinite Campus, all historical data will still be extracted, and districts will continue to have access to their complete raw historical datasets for verification requests or other needs."

District staff are invited to participate in upcoming BRIDGE Office Hours sessions on December 17 at 12 p.m. CST and again at 4 p.m. CST to ask questions or get updates from the state implementation team.

Those with further questions about BRIDGE implementation or data migration can contact the BRIDGE team directly.
