Report: Minooka School District spent $9,246 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Minooka Community Consolidated School District 201 was up 7.1 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Grundy County school district spent $8,637 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,246 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 4,472 to 4,821 students over the same period.

Minooka's spending in 2019-20 was 36.2 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
