Report: Morrisonville School District spent $10,793 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Morrisonville Community Unit School District 1 was up 25.9 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Christian County school district spent $8,576 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,793 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 325 to 292 students over the same period.

Morrisonville's spending in 2019-20 was 25.5 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
