Report: Depue School District spent $10,680 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Depue Unit School District 103 was up 11.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Bureau County school district spent $9,559 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,680 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 441 to 365 students over the same period.

Depue's spending in 2019-20 was 26.3 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
