Report: Troy School District spent $12,483 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Troy Community Consolidated School District 30C was up 12.4 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Will County school district spent $11,101 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,483 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 4,400 to 4,188 students over the same period.

Troy's spending in 2019-20 was 13.9 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
