Report: Pecatonica School District spent $13,155 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Pecatonica Community Unit School District 321 was up 19.9 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Winnebago County school district spent $10,971 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $13,155 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 898 to 900 students over the same period.

Pecatonica's spending in 2019-20 was 9.2 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
