Teacher Tapp has announced that a survey found most teachers respond to students swearing in class, with private conversations being the most common approach. This announcement was shared on the Teacher Tapp website.

According to Education Week, a January 2025 survey revealed that 67% of school leaders say student behavior has not improved in the past year. Swearing, defiance, and classroom disruptions remain among the top concerns reported by educators. The report highlights that these issues persist across grade levels and school settings.

Pew Research Center reported that 77% of teachers say their job is frequently stressful, with student behavior being a key contributor to that stress. The report notes that secondary school teachers are less likely than elementary teachers to ask for apologies and more likely to document incidents. Differences in disciplinary approaches often reflect the age of students and the perceived severity of behavior issues.

Teacher Tapp is a daily survey app used by thousands of teachers to share insights about their classroom experiences and professional lives. It provides real-time polling data that helps inform education policy and practice. The app has become a widely cited source in educational discussions and research.
