Economically disadvantaged students scored 487.9 on average on the SAT math test at Birmingham Public Schools during the 2018-2019 academic year, a worse result than the overall average for all students in the district, according to the Michigan Department of Educations' 2019 Michigan Merit Examination (MME).

Overall, economically disadvantaged students scored 441.3 on average on the SAT math test in the 2018-2019 academic year.

MME's primary purpose is to provide a snapshot of end-of-year student learning across the state.
