Report: Spring Lake School District spent $14,170 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Spring Lake Community Consolidated School District 606 was up 29 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Tazewell County school district spent $10,983 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,170 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 80 to 43 students over the same period.

Spring Lake's spending in 2019-20 was 2.2 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
