Report: Greenview School District spent $13,129 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Greenview Community Unit School District 200 was up 44.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Menard County school district spent $9,071 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $13,129 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 243 to 211 students over the same period.

Greenview's spending in 2019-20 was 9.4 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
