Report: Woodland School District spent $11,893 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Woodland Community Unit School District 5 was up 7.8 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Livingston County school district spent $11,037 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,893 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 506 to 484 students over the same period.

Woodland's spending in 2019-20 was 17.9 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
