Report: Mt Pulaski School District spent $12,886 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Mt Pulaski Community Unit School District 23 was up 26.8 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Logan County school district spent $10,160 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,886 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 545 to 511 students over the same period.

Mt Pulaski's spending in 2019-20 was 11.1 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
