Report: Ludlow School District spent $18,370 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Ludlow Community Consolidated School District 142 was up 42.6 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Champaign County school district spent $12,878 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $18,370 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 80 to 54 students over the same period.

Ludlow's spending in 2019-20 was 26.8 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
