Report: Warren School District spent $13,168 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Warren Community Unit School District 205 was up 12.9 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Jo Daviess County school district spent $11,659 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $13,168 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 404 to 391 students over the same period.

Warren's spending in 2019-20 was 9.1 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
