Report: United School District spent $12,561 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at United Township High School District 30 was up 18.4 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Rock Island County school district spent $10,606 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,561 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,712 to 1,705 students over the same period.

United's spending in 2019-20 was 13.3 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
