Report: Medinah School District spent $17,060 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Medinah School District 11 was up 27.8 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dupage County school district spent $13,353 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $17,060 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 624 to 692 students over the same period.

Medinah's spending in 2019-20 was 17.7 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
