Report: Dunlap School District spent $10,045 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Dunlap Community Unit School District 323 was up 19.3 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Peoria County school district spent $8,417 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,045 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 4,463 to 4,541 students over the same period.

Dunlap's spending in 2019-20 was 30.7 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
