Report: Reavis School District spent $17,866 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Reavis Township High School District 220 was up 7.4 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $16,637 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $17,866 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 1,866 to 1,907 students over the same period.

Reavis's spending in 2019-20 was 23.3 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
