Report: Rosemont School District spent $21,329 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Rosemont Elementary School District 78 was up 26.9 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $16,810 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $21,329 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 256 to 215 students over the same period.

Rosemont's spending in 2019-20 was 47.2 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
