Report: Community Unit School District #4 School District spent $9,143 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Community Unit School District #4 was down 5 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Adams County school district spent $9,620 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,143 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment remained unchanged over the same period, with 654 students.

Community Unit School District #4's spending in 2019-20 was 36.9 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
