Spending per pupil at Hinckley-Big Rock Community Unit School District 429 was down 0 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dekalb County school district spent $14,382 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,376 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 701 to 717 students over the same period.

Hinckley-Big Rock's spending in 2019-20 was 0.8 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
