Report: Hinsdale School District spent $19,276 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Hinsdale Community Consolidated School District 181 was up 12 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dupage County school district spent $17,217 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $19,276 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 3,853 to 3,743 students over the same period.

Hinsdale's spending in 2019-20 was 33 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
